How I approached it
01 Made the technical accessible. Cumulus9's product — portfolio VaR margining, SIMM methodology, intraday clearing — is dense. Every post started by finding the real-world consequence of the technical detail, then leading with that.
02 Amplified events beyond the room. Conference attendance is expensive. I extended the ROI of every event — FIA Expo, B3 Week, FOW Asia — by creating content that reached thousands of people who weren't there.
03 Built authority through consistency. Posting regularly on regulatory updates (EMIR 3, IRM2, Treasury Clearing reform) positioned Cumulus9 as a company that understands the market, not just sells into it.
04 Reached the right people. 63% of the follower base is Senior, Director, CXO or VP level — decision-makers in derivatives and risk infrastructure, exactly Cumulus9's target buyers.
